Course and assessment of clinical research:
A total of 11 national team athletes from the Slovak Republic were monitored, 3 who participated in fitness and 8 in bodybuilding in a range of weight categories. The monitored athletes regularly drank the Let's Go Wellness Drink 1 to 2 times a day. Measurements were conducted between 21.1.2006 and 22.4.2006. The first measurements were taken before any use of the wellness drink. The last measurement was completed just before completing a 3-month training cycle including the wellness drink before the Slovak and European Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships. From the results it is clear that the athletes that drank the wellness rink on a daily basis in the monitored period achieved major improvements in terms of biochemical parameters. It can also be said that the athletes' metabolism improved and intensified. Blood flow properties improved thanks to a drop in the quantity of thrombocytes and the blood spectrum moved into the middle of the physiological spectrum, leading to better oxygen transport and utilization and improved oxidation functions and body function. This improvement likely occurred due to the increased available energy capacity and supplies available to the body when drinking Let's Go during or before a workout. The athletes who drank the wellness drink gave the beverage rave reviews, stating that their performance and mental toughness had subjectively increased and that the wellness beverage had no side effects. Everything indicates that the use of the wellness drink by our bodybuilders and fitness athletes was effective and correct. Further evidence is the fact that the athletes involved in this research won 6 European Championship titles and an additional 2 second-place finishes at the European Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships in 2006. This major collective leap forward helped Slovakia take home first place in the country rankings.

Tired of taking pills or other artificial substances when you're feeling fatigued or tired? Nature offers a number of effective, natural stimulants. We've created a unique combination of effective plant extracts including Tribulus terrestris, guarana and chili peppers, enriched with B-group vitamins. From the very beginning we have insisted that the Let's Go beverage be strictly natural. We don't use any taurine, chemical preservatives, artificial sweeteners, flavor enhancers or artificial colors.
Also known as Bindii, this plant grows in tropical and moderate climates around the world. Slovakia is at the northern edge of its native range. It has been known for centuries and has been considered a cure-all or panacea in various contexts. For instance, the ancient Greeks used it as a diuretic and a mood enhancer. Indians valued the plant for its effects in treating urinary tract problems. The Chinese applied Tribulus terrestris to treat liver, kidney and cardiovascular disorders. Tribulus terrestris was first harnessed for pharmaceutical purposes at the end of the 1980s by the Bulgarians. The product that contained the extract of this plant was used in the treatment of premenstrual and post-menopausal syndrome in women and andropause in men. Research has shown that Tribulus terrestris increases the level of the luteinizing hormone in people, which directly stimulates the production of sex hormones, thereby increasing sexual appetite. This resulted in its being referred to as a "plant Viagra". Many scientific studies on men over the age of 50 have found that the extract has an overall beneficial effect on mental and physical vigor. This can also help overcome a mid-life crisis, often reflected in a growing waistline accompanied by a waning of sexual appetite and a loss of youthful vitality and attractiveness.
(Paullinia cupana) This plant is one of the best known natural stimulants. The plant is originally found in South America where the local natives found that it helped them get through periods of famine, sickness and strenuous physical labor. One of the benefits of guarana is that it does not load the stomach with toxic substances as guarana (and the caffeine it contains) is in a natural and easy to digest form. Digestion is slow in animals, with the refreshing effects lasting up to 6 hours. Guarana may be the perfect replacement if you have ever had too much caffeine from coffee and experienced the resulting crash and fatigue after 2 to 3 hours as these negative effects are nowhere to be found. Given that guarana supports the breakdown of lactic acid, which helps to decrease muscle soreness, making it a favorite among athletes. It also increases the body's resistance to fatigue, stress and depressions, helps improve blood flow and stimulates the immune system. No negative side effects of guarana have been confirmed to date in spite of all the positives mentioned above.
Chili peppers contain the substance capsaicin, which is effective in combatting stomach and intestinal problems. Chili peppers are a digestion aid that helps burn calories at an increased rate while helping the vascular system and has a stimulating effect on the mind, while warming up body and can help lower blood pressure.
All of the B-group vitamins are known under the common name vitamin b-complex. They are all water soluble vitamins and are critical for ensuring proper metabolism. The main sources of B vitamins are yeast, meat, cheese, whole grain products, legumes and nuts. Polish biochemist Casimir Funk was the first to discover vitamin B in rice bran in 1912.
(Thiamine) Its primary function is to convert saccharides, fats and alcohol into energy. By maintaining oxygen levels in the blood, it helps avoid cell oxidation and increase efficient energy use. The vitamin is critical during periods of great physical exertion and stress. Thiamine is not stored in the body and only lasts for 4 to 10 days if no additional thiamine is ingested. This is why a constant supply is needed for the body. Perhaps you didn't know that the level of vitamin B1 in the body decreases when you drink coffee and large amounts of tea. An extreme lack of thiamine causes the fatal nervous disease known as Beriberi. The first symptoms of a lack of this vitamin include muscle pain, fatigue and a loss of appetite with more acute symptoms following such as depression, irritability and dementia as the result of degenerative neurological changes. It is impossible to overdose on vitamin B1 as it is water soluble and easily excreted in urine.
(Pyridoxine) Vitamin B6 is important to ensure the nervous and immune systems work properly. It is involved in the production of red blood cells and antibodies. It also can help heal acne scars. The vitamin is used as a prevention and supporting therapy in the treatment of various nerve and rheumatic diseases. People who have a high levels of protein transfer (including professional athletes), women using hormonal contraceptives, people with celiac disease and some chronically ill patients all need to increase vitamin B6 intake. Higher doses of this vitamin can help treat anemia and various nerve disorders. The primary sources of vitamin B6 are liver, pork, mackerel, eggs, yeast, bananas, cabbage, avocado, carrot, nuts, soy and offal. Cooking does decrease the levels of vitamin B6 in food. A lack of this vitamin is rare. Symptoms include an increase in irritability in the nerve and muscle complexes, for instance ticks, cramps and forgetfulness or irritation of the mucus membranes in the mouth.
(Cyanocobalamin) The body does create reserves of this vitamin, primarily in the liver, and can stockpile these reserves for a number of years. The vitamin itself is important during the metabolism of sugars, fats and proteins. It is an integral part of the creation of DNA, RNA and myelin (a white substance that surrounds nerve fibers). The body can only breakdown this vitamin when combined in a compound with a glycoprotein named gastric intrinsic factor produced in the walls of the stomach. Animal products are the only source of vitamin B12 and include offal, fish, eggs and milk products. Pregnant women and nursing mothers as well as older people should supplement their intake. It has also been shown that the body's ability to extract vitamin B12 from food decreases as we get older. A lack of the vitamin may occur among vegans, who completely eliminate animal products from their diets. Symptoms include anemia and more frequently occurring canker sores on the tongue and in the mouth.
Thanks to the fact that Let's Go doesn't contain any taurine (which in elevated amounts represents a serious load on the cardiovascular system) it can be combined with alcohol to create a number of tasty mixed drinks. Here are a couple of recipes that you're sure to master at home as well.
